History: The Scituate Ambulance was incorporated
on June 15th, 1953. SARCO was created with the purpose of maintaining a voluntary ambulance and rescue service
for the residents of the town of Scituate, Rhode Island and to cooperate with civilian defense service organizations, fire
and police departments and other emergency organizations of the state, the town of Scituate, and surrounding towns in the
event of accident, sickness, disaster, or emergency by providing rescue, first aid, and ambulance service on a voluntary basis.
